The Homestay English Academy is a small English Language School located on the beautiful Dorset coast in South West England. Your homestay will involve staying with a warm and friendly family and you will be taught by one of two professionally qualified and experienced teachers, who have many years of English language teaching.

At Homestay English Academy we offer a range of English language study courses at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. We offer general and specialised English language courses for junior and young adult learners, exam courses, English for university study and business and professional courses. We also offer personalised learning programmes to focus on your particular needs and we will be happy to discuss this with you before your stay.

You will stay in a beautiful traditional English country house and be welcomed into family life and be very much part of the family. You will also be able to enjoy the exceptional local area and the fantastic Dorset Jurassic Coast. The area is famous for beautiful countryside and beaches, fossil hunting, sailing, the arts, theatre, food and literature (Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen). The 2012 Olympic Games sailing events will be held off the Jurassic coast.

You can have single lessons with your own  teacher or study in a small group of  2-5 students. This means you can learn English the way you want. We will work with you to achieve your personal goals while having fun and enjoying the wonderful Jurassic coastal area.
