Homestay English Academy is located in the village of Shipton Gorge just outside the historic market town of Bridport in West Dorset, which is a short distance from the sea. You will be safe and secure in a popular part of South West England. The local town of Bridport has a very big arts, music and food scene, so there is always something new to do. We are situated in a famous World Heritage Site and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The fishing town of West Bay is nearby, with its harbour, fish stalls, restaurants and beach. The famous seaside town of Lyme Regis is a short distance along the coast and well worth a visit. The historic towns of Dorchester, Weymouth, Bournemouth and Exeter are a short journey away.

By Air

You can fly to the regional airports of Exeter, Bournemouth or Southampton. Heathrow and Gatwick airports are further away but we can provide a collection and return service if required.

West Bay

By Train

You can travel by train from Europe to London on Eurostar which travels from Paris to London. From London take the train from Waterloo Station to Dorchester station in Dorset, this takes 3 hours. Again we can provide a collection and return service.

By Sea

You can take a ferry to Poole in Dorset from Cherbourg, France and other French ports. We will help with your travel arrangements and can provide a collection and return service in most cases.
